Venga Cucina is the culminated vision of restauranteur Gino Benevenga. Hailing from Campania region of Italy, Gino brings a little piece of his motherland to Toronto’s Junction neighborhood.

Gino has perfected the craft of the roman-style flatbread pizzas—the pinsa romana—and is one of only two certified masters in Canada to offer authentic pinsa romana at his restaurant.

The pinsa is heralded for its crunchy exterior, its light and airy pockets in the center, and its digestibility; all due to a select blend of cereal flours and high hydration.
