When owner Gino decided to update the interior of the restaurant he knew to call on long time friend Gabry, of Gabry Fine Art.

Gino actually met her husband and began working with him in 1985 and they have remained friends ever since.

Gabry paints beautiful landscapes and was a perfect choice for the Italian countryside mural Gino envisioned for the dining room.

It all started with a red wall that accented the buildings rustic red bricks. Gabry used warm colours to brighten and give a golden glow to the mural. It’s stunning in the bright light of the days sun and gives warmth to the restaurants dining room in the evening.

The scene is of Pompei, a city in southern Italy’s Campania region that is overlooked by the active volcano at Vesuvius. Pompeii was an ancient city which was buried by the 79 A.D. eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

We couldn’t leave out our Original Pinsa Romana certificate as well and Gabry perfectly incorporated it into the design.
